Simeon Tsonchev directed the short fiction Delete, which has won numerous awards and is aired on Spanish TV channel RTVE.
He is the founder of Mono Collective – a platform which supports emerging Bulgarian filmmakers. Some of his films include the documentary Flying Away, which presents the variety of wild birds in Bulgaria and the short film Help us #SavePirin, commissioned by WWF and watched by over a million viewers worldwide.
His short fiction Under the Same Roof premiered at the EFA qualifying Drama Film Festival and was screened at the Oscar qualifying film festivals Short Shorts and Huesca.
School for Hope, Simeon’s latest documentary as a producer, took part at IDFA Docs for Sale in Amsterdam, TiDF Agora Doc Market in Thessaloniki and VdR–Film Market in Nyon receiving a number of awards and premiered on HBO Max.
